FAVOURITE CHRISTMAS CAROL # 15 - SUPERNATURAL

SUPERNATURAL

Written by Julia A'Bell, David Wakerley & Beci Wakerley

Verse 1
These are the days when
We can see miracles
Your wonders everywhere
Here is my life Lord
You can use me
To show the world You care

Pre-Chorus
You made me, You saved me Lord
You called me, and gave me Jesus

Chorus
Supernatural, supernatural God
All things are possible
Supernatural, supernatural God
I'm gonna praise You

Verse 2
You are my healer
And my salvation, thank you for your grace
Your name is higher
Than any other, greatly to be praised

(Repeat Pre-Chorus & Chorus)

Bridge
We can see miracles
We can see miracles

I know that technically this is not a Christmas Carol but we always sing it in our Church at Christmas.

HOOK

There is something puzzling me

As it doesn’t say in the book

Before his hand was taken

What did they call captain hook

It’s a difficult one to answer

Maybe he was evil captain fist

Or was he called captain two hands

Not really a very menacing list

And was it simply irony, mere chance

Or was his accident planned

For if not for the crocodile

He would have remained a deck hand

CHRISTMAS CANDLE

Candle light of beauty

Adorning church and alter

None excluded from Christ’s love

Darkness brightly conquered

Light of Christ illuminating

Everlasting light of life

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A VERY COUNTRY CHRISTMAS (2017)

Jeanette Williams (Bea Santos) is a busy single parent, working two jobs to make the best life for her and her daughter Quinn (Raven Stewart). She works so hard that she has no time for either dating or following current celebrity gossip, so Jeanette is unaware of the identity of the Country superstar Zane Gunther (Greyston Holt) when he returns to their small town to escape the intrusive paparazzi and the chaos of fame.

A chance meeting between the two have them soon leads to them both letting their guards down and opening their hearts to the possibility of romance.

“A Very Country Christmas” is a delightful Christmas Romance with some lovely musical interludes and an accomplished supporting cast in particular Deana Carter as Jolene.

With decs for party popping

And Gifts for twenty five

Including a six foot tree

VICTORIOUS CHRISTMAS PIE

In the nineteenth century

At Christmas time

The old queen, Victoria

Gave, to her senior staff

And closest friends

A specially commissioned

Victorian Christmas pie

An extraordinary example

Of culinary magnificence

The pie consisted firstly

Of a woodcock

Small and plump

Which was then stuffed inside

A well hung and gamey pheasant

Which in its turn

Was stuffed inside

A fat corn fed chicken

As if this was not enough

The chicken itself was then

Stuffed into a huge Turkey

Until Finally

The great weight of fowl

Was placed upon a dish

And surrounded by special stuffing

And baked beneath

The richest pastry crust
