After a serious injury to her foot star ballet dancer Bree Carson (Kelly Rian Sanson) gives up and becomes a ballet teacher and is stuck in a rut.

Then one day schoolteacher Ethan Barone (Rico Morris) turns up at the studio with four pupils who want to learn to dance for the school Christmas talent show.

With the encouragement of Ethan and the girls she dances again and is given the chance to return to the stage in a spectacular come back.

So, will she triumph in the dance and her new love interest?

Jacqueline Miller (Kate Miner) has her own design company, albeit it’s just her and her friend Heather (Sara Hayter), but in order to secure her future as a designer she has set her sights on winning the prestigious annual “Festival of Trees” competition.

But she loses her potential corporate sponsor to her successful arch-rival Alice Stewart (Josie Davis) who also steals her Versailles inspired design, so she has to start from scratch.

Looking for inspiration she goes to a tree lot and meets Brandon Holliday (Greg Perrow) and the encounter is a little abrasive, then she goes to the children’s hospital where she meets a sick child called Rachel (Jojo Regina) who turns out to be Brandon’s daughter.

She spends some time speaking with Rachel and finds out all the things she likes and gets her inspiration for the “memory tree” with handmade ornaments depicting the children’s loves and wishes.

So, will her special tree win the big prize and will her shaky start with Brandon lead to Christmas love?

 

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS ECHO IN THE SNOW (2018)

 

For 30 years, Kathleen (Catherine Mary Stewart) carried around the haunting memory of her father abandoning her and her mother on Christmas Eve, and for all those years she blamed her mother for his leaving, eventually unable to separate the joys of the Christmas season from the pain of her family past she reached the point where she refused to celebrate Christmas at all.

However, although she tries to forget her past, she finds it has not forgotten her when Christmas Snow arrives.

When because of a blizzard, Kathleen finds herself snowed in and stuck in her home with two strangers during the days leading up to Christmas.

Sam (Muse Watson), a gentle older man that Kathleen took in for the night, and Lucy (Cameron Ten Napel), the daughter of her soon to be fiancé, and they bring her face to face with the painful hurts of her past and she is forced to choose between letting go of the past with all its pain and bitterness and grabbing hold of a life-changing forgiveness.

He is a difficult choice for her because she has never really gotten over him, largely avoiding dating because no one could quite measure up to him.

But she has to bring her A game to the assignment because consideration for partner is on the cards.

But as Brie and Eddie work on the shoot, will things between them begin to heat up enough for them to have a happy ending?

When she meets her daughter’s favourite teacher Ryan Tanner (Christopher Russell), who teaches science, she sees through the bah humbug charade and believes he is hiding the secret that he is severely colour-blind.

So, she takes it upon herself to discover the truth, and when he admits it to her, she enrols him on a trial to test some new technology, but he is reluctant, even though she believes may open up his world.

So, she perseveres because a connection seems to be happening between them, so will she help bring colour into his life in time for Christmas while also brightening her life in the process, and making Bailey’s wish come true.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS IN ROYAL FASHION (2018)

 

Executive Assistant Kristin (Cindy Busby) works for a very demanding boss Melanie Charles (Meredith Thomas) at Charles Global PR in Los Angeles.

Just before Christmas she is left in charge to attend a meeting with the Ambassador of Edgemoor when Melanie has to suddenly fly to Boston at short notice to meet a potential new client.

The meeting is to discuss the Christmas charity fashion show in aid of the Children’s Hospital which is cosponsored by the Edgemoor monarchy and Melanies biggest client, Dan Carson (Michael Paré) of Carson Designs.

However, when the Ambassador arrives, he turns out to be Prince Patrick of Edgemoor (Diarmaid Murtagh) and his aide Albert (Adam Levy), and they mistakenly assume that Kristin is actually her boss, Melanie, and her friend Jill (Galyn Görg) urges Kristin not to correct them.

The ruse becomes more protracted when Melanie ends up being trapped by snow in Boston.

It was in that extra time as they spent time together that they fell in love, but it all comes crashing down when Kristin's competitive colleague, Josh (Jason Cook) publicly exposes her as a fraud, and she loses her job and her love.

So, have they cruelly lost their happy-ever-after or will love and Christmas magic win out?

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CARPENTER CHRISTMAS ROMANCE (2024)

 

Andrea Metcalf (Sasha Pieterse) is a successful fantasy romance author but faces a fan backlash when the final page of the final book of the series is leaked and the heartbreaking book ending ends up on the internet.

Her sister Ella (Kaley McCormack) suggests that she escapes to her family's farmhouse in the town of Wildwood where she can edit her book.

The town was still recovering after a major fire had wreaked havoc and it was nearly destroyed.

Andrea is soon reunited with her high school crush, Seth Ferguson (Mitchell Slaggert) who is now a hardworking artisan carpenter helping to rebuild the town.

Sparks fly between them, but Andrea is very insecure because inside she is still the quiet geeky girl and he is the popular athlete.

So will the two get past their high school dynamic and fall in love and have the happy ending they both deserve.

Alex however has other ideas and takes a job as a handyman at the Baiting Hollow Farm Vineyard in New York, which is run by Faith Dupree (Ashley Brinkman), under the name of Alex Prince.

He is accompanied by his bodyguard Remy (Mario Silva) posing as his brother, and his sister Princess Juliet (Carly Bondar) and she covers for his absence.

Carlo (Thomas Wiederhold) actually owns the winery, but ill health keeps him at home, so Faith and his grandson Ryan (John Romanski) keep things going.

Faiths friend Melinda (Jes Andres) is the first one to discover the true identities of the new arrivals but is sworn to secrecy as they work towards the Christmas party for the foster children and Alex and Faith grow close.

But it will only be a matter of time before the truth comes out and then they must survive the fallout.

She finds the perfect tree outside a house built on the site of the old town square which is owned by firefighter Kevin Snyder (Mark Taylor) and lives there with his daughter Claire (Grace Sunar). 

After introducing herself to them both as they build a snowman, she tries to win him over in order to get his spruce tree for the big celebration.

Despite his reluctance she doesn’t give up and forms a pleasing relationship with him and his daughter.

So, will she get her tree? Or will she give it up for love?

Shelby agrees not to leave on condition that Evan pretends to be the Christmas Prince and fulfil Graces wishes.

While they work through the list Evan comes out of his shell and Shelby sees a different side of him and romance blossoms, but will she embrace it or will she put Grace and a new job offer first.

She ends up teaming up with entrepreneur Simon (Christopher Russell) to recreate his Aunt Jackie’s (Janet Anderson) famous “Joy to the World” fudge recipe while she is on vacation.

As its Christmas while they race against time, holiday love begins to bloom between the unlikely pair.

Susan immediately lists the property with a realtor and sets up an open house, but Ashley sabotages every potential buyer until the day that she meets Texan Liam (Lorenzo Pozzan) who is looking to start a horse trekking ranch and the two of them make an immediate connection.

So will she give up her life in New York or stay on the Ranch in Italy with a man she has just met and spend the rest of her life with him.

Holiday Affair is the Christmas season romance about a young widowed single mom Jodie Ennis (Cynthia Gibb) and a department store salesclerk Steve Mason (David James Elliott) who loses his job because of her.

Jodie is raising her son Timmy (Curtis Blanck) alone and works for a marketing company and buys an expensive train set for a photo shoot, then she returns it to the store for a refund which Steve gives her because he is attracted to her, going against store policy so she inadvertently gets him fired from his job in the department store.

Jodie is also attracted to him, but she is already engaged to a conservative lawyer named Paul Davis (Tom Irwin) which creates a romantic triangle, especially after she invites Steve to Christmas dinner with Timmy and fiancé Paul.

Ultimately, she must choose between her safe relationship with Paul and the more exciting attraction she has for Steve.

So, what will the outcome be?

Stephanie Nichols (Ellen Hollman) takes over the Christmas Shop in Trolley Square from her parents, only to discover that a property developer Helen (Cynthia Gibb) has bought the building and is terminating the retail leases at the end of the year.

Helen assigns Michael Kilpatrick (Bobby Campo) to head up the project, but it isn’t until he has already met Stephanie and visited her store that he finds out that the project he has been given is Trolley Square.

There was an immediate mutual attraction between them but the news that he was to be the one to wield the axe threatens to end a promising romance before its begun.

But Michael won’t be deterred and goes the extra mile to help her, but will that be enough in the end?
