THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A PERFECT CHRISTMAS PAIRING (2023)

 

After getting savaged by a critic in a review due to her gastro-scientific approach to cuisine, top Chef Grace Cooke (Ansley Gordon), is encouraged to take a few days off to see her Aunt and Uncle (Kelly Ryan and Carlos Harrison) on their vineyard in the run up to Christmas.

It also gave her the chance to reconnect with her best friend Felicity Rockitt (Meg Biddle Smith) and through Felicity she meets her travel journalist brother Asher St. James (Chris Connell) who helps her reconnect with her roots and shows her what’s really important.

Christmas hating advertising executive Tiffany Baxter (Nola Martin) creates a new Christmas campaign ad for her agency’s biggest client.

The client loves it, but it received a social media backlash for its complete lack of “Christmas”.

To save her job and to rescue the campaign for the client she has to quickly immerse herself in Christmas.

Her friend Amber (Andrea Carter) puts her forward as a volunteer at the “Secret Santa” charity run by Grey Johnson (Brendan Murray).

Working with Grey and his son Brandon (Liam MacDonald) she learns to love Christmas again.

But that could all be undone if Grey discovers the real motive that took her to the charity.

After losing her job and suffering an ugly breakup journalist Katrina (Brooke Burfitt) writes a bitter anti-Christmas book which her sister Lindsey (Bridget Fitzgerald) secretly sends to a publisher, and it becomes a best seller.

After becoming a best-selling author, she has to hide her love for Christmas to boost her sales, so to indulge her love of Christmas she seeks out a website for people who are crazy about Christmas: "Christmas Lovers Anonymous" and finds love in the process.

Rachel was recommended for the job by Susan’s manager Logan (Peter Porte) who turns out to be Rachel’s her first love and high school sweetheart, and the one that got away.
