Sous chef Joy Johnson (Vanessa Sears) is due to spend Christmas with her boyfriend Gabe (Colton Royce) and his family.

Due to her work load he was travelling ahead of her and while he is packing, she accidentally discovers an engagement ring in his luggage.

After working the lunchtime shift at the restaurant, she sets off in her boyfriend’s car in a snowstorm and crashes into a snow drift and is rescued by a handsome maple farmer James Lewis (Jon McLaren).

The Lewis family invite her to stay at the farm while she gets her car repaired and as she spends time with James, she begins to doubt her future with Gabe and a whole new future opens up for her.

To save her project, she enlists the help of local historian Jack Carrington (Cody Ray Thompson) to locate the owners in order to acquire the land.

But uncovering the owners involved a great deal of them participation in Happy Hollow Christmas Traditions and very soon they find the search is more enjoyable and more important than achieving their goal.

After recently moving to London, American architect David Burnside (Will Kemp) is shopping for a Christmas present for his girlfriend Charlotte Fitzsimmons (Sophie Hopkins) three days before Christmas when he runs into professional shopper Anji Patel (Reshma Shetty) who frowns upon his choice of a gift card.

As his girlfriend is also his boss’s daughter he bows to pressure from his peers and hires Anji to help him find Charlotte a meaningful gift and so begins an adventure that takes them from one scrape to another and inevitably David and Anji make an emotional connection.

Two very successful rival weather presenters, Tara and Sam (Anjali Khurana and Landon Moss) apply for a prestigious new job in Washington, and they are both invited for interview at short notice before Christmas.

Due to the time of year and the weather, they are unable to book a flight or get a train ticket so they both decide to drive, but they only get as far the small town of Mistletoe, and they get trapped in the “town that Christmas forgot”.

While they are trapped, they must both create a promo weather report as an audition piece in order to get their dream job.

However, they get side tracked into trying to bring Christmas back to the town and soon stopped seeing one another as the competition.
