THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – MY FIRST CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

Children’s author Halle Downing (Idara Victor) was given up for adoption as a baby but never found her forever family and spent her life in foster care from a young age, and as a thirty something the closest thing to family she knew was her former social worker Eugene (Lance E. Nichols).

Then out of the blue she is invited to spend Christmas in New Orleans with the biological family she never knew she had.

She decides to seize the opportunity to meet them, partially out of curiosity and partly because she hopes it might help to break her writer’s block, but she is surprised by the welcome.

However, it takes some family conflict and an unexpected love interest to get her writing again.

Executive at the Chester and Wade department store Madison Jacobs (Kathryn Davis) is under pressure to organize a menswear fashion show and come up with something new.

Wanting to mix the traditional with the modern she comes up with the concept of a younger slender "Styling Santa".

So, she turned to her best friend and former model Ethan Davis (Franco Lo Presti) who ran his own Talent Agency but when he struggles to find a suitable candidate in his desperation not to let down the woman, he loves he dons a white beard and Rafe Hollifield is born.

He is perfect and "Styling Santa" goes viral but in the process, Madison begins to fall for Rafe and Ethan manages to make himself jealous.

So, will he come clean, or will he be exposed and if it’s the latter will she forgive his deception?

Six old schoolfriends, Austin Craig, Everett Matthews, Tipper Tisdale, Ricky Treviño, Michelle Wu and Clay King (Taylor Frey, Kyle Dean, Massey Katie, Walder Roberto, Aguire Nikki, McKenzie and Norman Towns) reunite for a hometown holiday treasure hunt, after receiving instructions from the law office representing a beloved old neighbour who had passed away earlier in the year.

In the process friendships are refreshed, old flames are rekindled, and new flames are lit.

Tiffany and James (Emily Alatalo and Franco Lo Presti) have been best friends forever, but secretly they have both always wanted more.

When James left to join the army, Tiffany made a time capsule and one of the items she put in it was James’ family heirloom engagement ring.

Ten years later a few days before Tiffany is due to open the capsule he returns home from overseas unexpectedly and asks Tiffany for the ring, intending to propose to another woman Ashley (Lindura).

But as Tiffany lives in the city and the ring is at her parents’ home, so she has the time it takes to drive home to show James who he should be marrying.
