Advertising executive Emma Potter (Kyla Pratt) gets a big assignment just before Christmas for a big prestige Watch company and decided to browse an Antique  jewellery shop and to her great surprise she finds the engraved watch she gave her old college boyfriend many years before.

Her sister Bronwyn (Rachael McLaren) believes its fate, Emma has a different view, so when she returns home to Vermont for Christmas, Bronwyn books her into the same B&B that her former sweetheart Fletcher (Edward Ruttle) is staying at with his vivacious daughter Lola (Sophia Bachart) and the old feelings resurface as they strive to save the local theatre.

Harper Hart (Jessica Sipos) is a TV meteorologist who has a reputation as a Grinch and doesn’t believe in miracles or Christmas magic and doesn’t enjoy the season at all.

But in the Hart family there is a family heirloom Mistletoe ornament, which traditional belief has it, has magical powers when couples kiss beneath it they fall instantly in love.

Harper doesn’t believe that, but her sister Holly (Miranda Millar) does, and she wants it for the Christmas Eve dinner so that her boyfriend will pop the question.

Unfortunately Harper hadn’t returned it after the previous holiday and to make matters worse her friend Elle (Alys Crocker) mistakenly donated the box of decorations to charity.

So she has to go on a quest to buy the decorations back from the thrift shop they were donated to and that’s where she meets childhood schoolmate Luke (Stephen Huszar) who is the store manager.

With his help they set off running around town trying to find the mistletoe in time for the family Christmas Eve dinner.

Despite the fact they are opposites, he loves Christmas and is a hopeless romantic they soon begin to fall for one another, which proves to her there really is such a thing as Christmas magic.

On Christmas Eve her dog Henry escapes so she has to team up with her Ex-boyfriend Max (Christopher Russell) to search for him.

Henry leads them on an all-day search through Bainesville, and as they revisit familiar people and places from their past, they are reminded of the Christmases they spent together, then Henry leads them to Max’s house.

So come Christmas morning will they find Henry and rediscover their love for each other?

But she has kept her intention to leave a secret from her best friend Kiki (Jamison Belushi) who is arranging the Christmas Mingle and Chef Luke (Mena Massoud) who is in love with her and the other staff, Sioux Cher Victor (Gabriel Davenport) and maid Anna (Catherine Saindon) are seeing each other in secret, while Concierge Milton (Neil Crone) and Sommelier Florence (Jayne Eastwood) would like to be and failing popstar Pandora (Kayleigh Shikanai) is a temp.

In the end she decides to stay at the Fontaine with Luke and her friends.

Jennifer Monroe (Jillian Murray) is a very successful Romantic Novelist and is meant to be spending Christmas in Fiji with her boyfriend Lucas (Conner Floyd) but because things between them are not quite right she cancels and returns home to Wisconsin for the first time in many years.

Apart from reconnecting with her family she also meets her old college sweetheart Mark Berry (George Stults) who she hasn’t seen for since they broke up seven years earlier and despite a frosty beginning, they rekindle their love during the holiday season.
