THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS EVE (2018)

 

Michael (Rafael Jordan) lives in Brooklyn and is struggling to make ends meet despite working hard as a car valet, Parking wealthy people’s luxury cars, as a short order cook, and other menial and demeaning jobs, but he loses the cook job because of an act of kindness.

While taking a break from a serving job at a cocktail party on Christmas Eve he makes an unexpected connection with a stranger Evelyn (Elisabetta Fantone) who offers him an alternative view on life despite their vastly different social status and backgrounds.

So they go on a journey on that cold December night which offers him a break from the routine and a glimpse into what might be, but ultimately nothing changes.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – MERRY LIDDLE CHRISTMAS (2019)

 

App designer Jacquie Liddle (Kelly Rowland) has just won a huge account with a magazine “Queen of the Castle” but they want to feature her home in their Christmas edition of her enjoying her own family Christmas.

Unfortunately Jacquie is single and lives alone, so she decides to host Christmas for her entire dysfunctional family, with boisterous kids and an untrained dog

Very soon Jacquie’s meticulously planned holiday falls apart as everyone else have different ideas so she is forced to go with the flow. and accept the resulting disorder and unpredictability.    

But amid the chaos and disasters they muddle through and although she doesn’t get her picture-perfect Christmas but as she becomes more flexible and openhearted, handsome restauranteur neighbour Tyler Brooks (Thomas Cadrot) comes into her life, so although it’s not perfect, its close enough.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – SPARKS AND EMBERS (2015)

 

Tom Sanger (Kris Marshall) is made redundant and is understandably unhappy about it then he gets trapped in a lift with the architect of his dismissal Eloise Martin (Annelise Hesme) and despite some initial awkwardness the sparks fly between them.

Five years later their relationship has ended, and they are meeting up at Christmas before she goes back to France, but he didn’t realise she was not coming back.

The problem with that is that she is the love of his life, so can Tom win her back in the 45 minutes before she boards the Eurostar?

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – KISS ME FOR CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

Cara (Laila Odom) works for an overbearing “publicist to the stars” Millie Michaels (Golden Brooks) who has Cara working around the clock.

She is due to go to her friend’s birthday party but has to go to Millie’s apartment first and while she’s in her building she finds herself trapped in an elevator late one night with an incredibly handsome stranger Trevor (Terrell Carter).

Where she and the mystery man share an impulsive, romantic, life-changing kiss before the doors open and Cara runs out, leaving him in her wake.

But after that spontaneous kiss, she ends up falling in love with him, unfortunately he is the boyfriend of her demanding boss.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A HOLIDAY BOYFRIEND (2019)

 

Katie (Olivia Dunkley) flies’ home for the holidays after being dumped by her boyfriend again and vows that it is the last Christmas she is going home without a boyfriend.

So in the New Year she starts using a dating app and discusses her progress with her two best friends Valerie and Keiko (Michelle Jubilee Gonzalez and PeiPei Alena Yuan).

However by November she is still looking, after meeting a lot of jerks, so out of frustration she wishes for a holiday boyfriend.

Eventually she makes a deal with Jacob (Matt Merchant) from the ranch where she stables her horse to fill the position, with conditions on both sides, but things don’t go exactly to plan.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE HOLIDAY SWITCH (2022)

 

Ally (Alex Paxton-Beesley) flies’ home for Christmas to see her family, however at the airport she mistakenly picks up the wrong piece of luggage and as she is technologically dependent on the devices in her bag, she is devastated, she has even lost her phone charger.

She then has to examine the intriguing contents of the luggage which appeared to belong to M. A. Turner, who is apparently an author, but try as she might, she can’t track him down.

On top of that she gets involved with organizing the Snowy Ball with her best friend Lara (Vanessa Jackson) and she keeps running into her ex, Henry (Ian D. Clark), with whom she had a bad breakup.

But there is a surprise in store for everyone.
