This heart-warming Christmas movie is inspired by a true story and will restore your faith in miracles.

Every Christmas, Dale Landis (Tim Reid) places a tree on the roof of his house, which he has done for many years, but in recent years he has ended up in court as a result.

None of his neighbours or anyone else in the small town knows why he continues the practice, but idealistic attorney, Sarah Wright (Michelle Morgan) is determined to give her neighbour Mr. Landis his Christmas wish and keep him out of jail.

Former mentor Judge Conner (Roger Dunn) has different ideas when he puts Sarah and an aggressive prosecutor John Keaton (Stephen Huszar) together to figure out the mystery behind the rooftop Christmas tree. The two must come together to find a solution and in the end find out more, not only about Mr. Landis, but about each other.

After he is fired by his greedy boss Charles Pinkworth (Rowan Atkinson) mild-mannered art-buyer Bernard Bottle (Alan Cumming) is dumped by his girlfriend after he discovers she’s been sleeping with his best friend.

After she leaves their home, she takes everything apart from a small amount of furniture and an ornate antique lamp.

When he begins to clean the lamp, he discovers a Josephus the Genie (Lenny Henry) inside who had been imprisoned there by a Wizard (John Gabriel).

Bernard introduces him to the modern world and Josephus grants him unlimited wishes.

So Taylor has to hold open auditions for someone to play the part of her girlfriend for the holidays.

After a succession of unsuitable candidates an out of work actress and unemployed barista Olive (Alexandra Swarens) get the gig after responding to a personal ad and they drive to meet Taylor’s parents Marge and Frank (Michelle Hakala Wolf and Robert Artz).

But before the year is out, they aren’t pretending anymore.

It also becomes clear that he can also change the past or the future of anyone aboard the train.
