THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – 13 SLAYS TILL X-MAS (2020)

 

On Christmas Eve, five seemingly random men, Red, Carl, a Priest, a Police Officer, and Ben (Christopher Bower, David E. McMahon, Jay Woolston, James Stokes and Kevin Roach) are mysteriously invited via e-mail to a seedy bar, and along with the Bartender (Katie Stewart) they decide to pass the time by resurrecting the old tradition of telling scary stories on the night before Christmas.

Each one takes their turn spinning horrific yuletide yarns, but it soon becomes apparent, there is something much more dark and deadly at play.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – MOST WONDERFUL TIME (2021)

 

Thirty-something Romance Writer Bria (Brittany Goodwin) has hit a wall with her recent novels so just before her mother sells their family home, which is planned for after the holidays, she heads home for Christmas.

While she’s home she reunites with her three best friends from high school Taylor, Autumn and Ella (Micah Lynn Hanson, Jess Barbour, and Brooke Burfitt), and as they reminisce and try to re-create their glory years, they reassess their lives in the here and now and get fresh perspectives on past romances.

The young Bria Taylor Autumn and Ella are played by Charlotte Myhre Shealy, Brooke Blackwell, Haley Falcione and Sydney Rowlette.

Grace Dorsey (Maya Jai Pinson) has always shared a special bond with her granddad (Faheem Saadiq Abdus-Salaam) especially at Christmas so when she returns home to South Carolina for the Holidays she is shocked by what she finds.

After witnessing various symptoms of memory loss, Grace becomes determined to get him the help he needs but it seems like her dad (Donnie Brown Jr.) and  Grandmom (Diane Powell) seem to be in denial and just blame it on his age.

But as Christmas approaches, he deteriorates and keeps asking when Christmas is over and over, and that continues even after Christmas Day.

So Grace suggests her Grandmom creates a Christmas Room so in his less lucid moments he would be comforted.

Despite the emotional toll, she eventually gets them to seek medical assistance and as her granddad's condition worsens, Grace tries one last attempt to jog his memory, hoping for a positive outcome, but is there one to be found.

Meanwhile, his mother, Elizabeth (Brooke Langton) meets a handsome toy company executive, Sammy (Patrick Muldoon) who works for an old man with a white beard (Edward Asner).
