After 12 years on her culinary hit series, “A World of Food”, renowned TV chef Mandy Gilmore (Lori Loughlin) says her farewell and announces her intention to embark upon a worldwide trip to dine at all the three-star Michelin restaurants.

However before embarking on her journey she has to first sell a property she inherited from her aunt Susan, “Angels Fare” to Adam Carraway (James Tupper) who owns the adjacent property.

As they are about to sign the papers the mysterious and enigmatic man Otto Nessen (Jesse Hutch) appears out of the blue and reminisces to them about the charity events put on every Christmas by her aunt Susan.

To her surprise Mandy suddenly announces her intention to host one final charitable Christmas before they complete the sale, Adam reluctantly agrees but soon becomes deeply involved in the events, and with Otto lending a helping and guiding hand romance blossoms.

He dreads being alone on the actual day, so he decides he wants to relive a childhood Christmas and returns to his old family home but with his loved ones long-gone, he decides to rent the current owners of the house, the Valcos, Tom, Alicia, Christine and Brian (James Gandolfini, Christina Applegate, Catherine O'Hara and Josh Zuckerman), to be his family for the day, and pays handsomely for the privilege.

He's hoping for a perfect Christmas but what he didn’t realize is that the Valcos are having their own problems, which his being there is making worse.

So will they all survive the ordeal and will any of their problems be solved  and will any lessons be learned?

Leaving a worried Mrs. Claus (Bonnie Hunt) at the North Pole the odd couple and the boss Zoe (Lucy Liu) go on a globe-trotting mayhem inducing mission to save Christmas encountering mythical figures Krampus (Kristofer Hivju) and Gryla (Kiernan Shipka) along the way.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A JAR FULL OF CHRISTMAS (2024)

 

Rose McCreedie (Brooke Burfitt) leaves her New York marketing job to return home to Lake Placid, for the funeral of her mother Dahlia (Eliza Roberts) with her daughter Lily (Casie Maghran) and inherits her mom's home.

Once back in town she is reunited her with her childhood friends Summer Pearson (Cara Maria Sorbello) and Everett Waters (Jason Frederick).

She also runs into her ex-husband Danny Cooper (Troy Escoda) and sparks fly between her an Everett, but the trio of friends uses Rose's mom's jam recipe to save the town church.
