After a breakup, hard-partying twenty-something Jenny (Anna Kendrick) moves to Chicago to stay with her older brother Jeff (Joe Swanberg) to get over it.

is a young filmmaker living a happy existence with his novelist wife Kelly
(Melanie Lynskey) and their two-year-old son.
Irresponsible
party animal Jenny's arrival disrupts their quiet existence as she and her old
friend from high school, Carson (Lena Dunham), and between them they remodel
Kelly's outlook in her personal life and literary career.
Simultaneously
Jenny strikes up a tempestuous relationship with the family's babysitter Jude
(Jude Swanberg) who is also a pot dealer, in short perfect recipe for a Happy
