Having given up her aspirations to be an artist Allie Evans (Danica
McKellar) has raised her siblings since the deaths of their parents, and works
as a maid at a luxury hotel, until she is fired for not getting a the penthouse
suite prepared in time for the next guest.
But the manservant of the suites previous occupant, Fergus (Pavel
Douglas) overheard what happened to her and offers her a temporary position as
governess to his employer’s daughter, Theodora (Ellie Botterill), in the small
European state of Winshire.
However, on her arrival she finds that Theodora’s father is King
Maximillian (Rupert Penry-Jones) and since the untimely death of her mother the
Queen, Theodora has been terrorizing all the authority figures in the Castle.
But Allie was more than equal to her tricks and she bonds with her as
she gets acquainted with the other servants and the adversarial Chancellor
Riggs (Colin McFarlane) and she also learns that King Maximillian is scheduled
to be wed to Countess Celia (Alexandra Evans).
So will the King marry the countess or will there be a fairy-tale
ending.
