THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS DANCE REUNION (2021)

 

Lucy Mortimer (Monique Coleman) is a successful attorney and looking forward to spending Christmas with her mom Virginia (Kim Roberts) in her hometown but at the last minute they decide to return to the Winterleigh Resort in order to celebrate the Hotel’s final Christmas season before the resort closes its doors for ever.

Almost immediately she is reunited with the owner’s nephew Barrett Brewster (Corbin Bleu) who just happens to be her childhood Christmas dance partner.

Sadly, the resort has fallen on hard times and has stopped most holiday events, but Lucy and Barrett spearhead the effort to recreate all the wonderful Christmas traditions that everyone loved so much, including the Christmas Dance.

Sparks fly between them and with their passion the pair give the resort a new lease of life.

The only thing left is for Lucy to take a risk on love as she partners up once more with Barrett for what could be the first of many Christmas Dances.

Hopeless romantic Eva Jordan (Kathryn Davis) runs a concierge business, and Christmas is her busiest season, and she gets some very strange requests, but she takes them all in her stride.

So, when one of her most important clients asks her stay at her son’s Penthouse while he is in Vermont in exchange for decorating the place and stocking his freezer with home-cooked food, she doesn’t miss a beat.

She is looking forward to staying in a luxury 5th Avenue Penthouse apartment for a few weeks but her peace and quiet is cut short when the grieving reclusive best-selling author Lucas Blade (Olivier Renaud) shows up unexpectedly.

After the initial shock for both of them passes an uneasy peace descends while the perky and sunny Eva gradually thaws out the cold fish and when the moody writer finally warms up a Christmas love is on the cards.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – COUNTING ON CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

The School Board has decided her Middle school will be closing in the New Year so Principal Addison Tate (Cindy Sampson) wants the last Christmas to be really special for her kids because it’s going to be the last.

So, she invites former alumni and old flame, Hollywood star Dylan Davidson (Steve Byers) to direct the school play in an effort to save the school.

Initially his Manager Garth Turnbull (Arnold Pinnock) ignores her calls but as he has no other work in the pipeline Dylan agrees and it looks like its mutually beneficial.

However, it is a mutual attraction which dominates their run up to Christmas. 

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – DASHING HOME FOR CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

As she has missed every family gathering since the previous Christmas successful business consultant Emily Nichols (Paniz Zade), is desperate to get home for Christmas.

But a last-minute pitch to the CEO of the company delays her start and things go from bad to worse after that as she encounters problem after problem, a missed cab, public transport issues, diverted flights, broken-down trains and even a lost wallet, and each and every set back put her holiday plans in jeopardy.

Luckily, she has a fellow traveller constantly by her side Simon Allein (Adrian Spencer), a stranger who’s a “go-with-the-flow” kind of guy who always sees the bright side, Emily is the complete opposite.

But if they want to get home, they have to rely on one another to get to their final destination and as they face each test they provide ample opportunity to get to know each other and what they find out they like so they end up falling in love.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHECK INN TO CHRISTMAS (2018)

 

When New York City lawyer Julia Crawley (Rachel Boston) returns to her Rocky Mountain hometown of Crestridge and her family’s lovely Inn for the holidays, she is just in time for the Centennial Christmas celebration.

The first person she encounters when she disembarks the train is

Ryan Mason (Wes Brown) the handsome son of the family who run another Inn that is her family’s biggest competition.

Although they are on opposite sides of a generations-old feud between the Crawley’s and the Mason’s there is a mutual attraction which grows day by day.

As the “forbidden” romance blossoms between Julia and Ryan they must try and unite their families in order to save their family Inns from a resort chain.


THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – HOMEMADE CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

Megan (Michelle Argyris) is a godsend during the holidays as she uses the weeks leading up to every Christmas to help around with any Christmas related tasks and saves the day for those who find the season taxing.

Then due to a misunderstanding when she visits a store called Trinkets and Toys she is mistaken for some kind of business guru by an investor.

As a result, the two owners Kurt and Mike (Travis Nelson and Marcello Di Fruscia) hire her to create a fantastic Christmas store display and increase footfall.

The investor David is impressed and insistent that she continue but she and Kurt continually clash but with each successive day she wears him down and works her way into his heart and he into hers.


THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS ROMANCE AL DENTE (2020)

 

Natalie Rogers (Anni Krueger) learns that her cousin Olivia (Nia Vardalos) has to cancel the Christmas Eve opening of her new Italian restaurant because bad weather has her grounded in Rome.

Natalie’s heart goes out to Olivia and all of the guests who were planning on attending so, despite having no experience in such things she decides she will open it for her.

Luckily, an attractive if pessimistic chef named Stefano Grimaldi (Gilles Marini) is on hand.

Although he thinks getting ready to open with only three days until Christmas is impossible, but her positivity overrules his pessimism and with the help of two young students BeeBee Jordan and Tyler (Emma Myers and Andrew Brodeur) they overcome all the obstacles.

And of course, there is love on the menu.
