THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS IN DOLLYWOOD 2019

 

Tennessee girl Rachel Davis (Danica McKellar) is a New York City event planner and having successfully concluded the final event on her calendar for the year she travels home for the holidays with her daughter Ava (Zoë Noelle Baker).

Although her intention was to just enjoy the holidays with her family, she ends up working on the thirtieth anniversary Christmas event at Dollywood with the theme park's Director of Operations Luke Hackman (Niall Matter).

As they work closely to make it a memorable 30th Anniversary they spend an increasing amount of time just enjoying the season and each other.

The only thing is that Rachel is going back to New York after the holidays to take up a promotion and Luke is headed out of Dollywood to Wild West Amusements, unless Christmas love gets into their hearts.

Hope (Jeni Ross) was abandoned as a baby and left in a diner booth and was discovered by waitress Louise Jensen (Jodi Larratt) who adopted her.

Hope has a very happy life with her adoptive mum until the time Louise is suddenly taken ill and passes away.

The day after the funeral she returns home to the apartment to find it has been burgled.

As the Police Officer is taking her statement Hope is feeling at her absolute lowest and then she discovered a Christmas Jar left anonymously in the hallway outside her apartment filled with coins and bank notes.

As a reporter for an online publication, she is tasked with writing a feelgood holiday piece, so she decides to investigate the "Christmas Jars" which have become a widespread phenomenon and tries to uncover the secret benefactors.

Using her journalistic skills, she tracks down the original act of kindness to the Maxwell family who have a business restoring used furniture.

Posing as a customer she manages to worm her way into the bossom of a loving family, but she gets in too deep and falls in love with Ian Maxwell (Markian Tarasiuk) but when the truth gets out that love will be put at risk.

As she is driving home, Jess (Aisha Dee) is preoccupied with texting following the best first date of her life with Ben (Kendrick Sampson) and is killed in a car crash and after the accident she wakes up as a ghost.

She is unable to move on, so she assumes she has to settle unfinished business first.

She is drawn to her best friend Kara (Kimiko Glenn) and is surprised that she can see her so they embark on an hilarious, bittersweet final adventure to determine what it is that’s keeping her earthbound so that Jess can ascend to the afterlife.

Huge Christmas fans, Ella Dashwood (Erin Krakow) and her sister Marianne (Kimberley Sustad) are joint owners of the family party-planning business although Ella has only been on board for a year, having led a bit of a wanderlust existence so Marianne is less than sure her sister is fully committed to the business.

Which is why when Ella suggests expanding the business Marianne shuts her down.

However, after a chance meeting with Edward Ferris (Luke Macfarlane), the company's C.E.O. of a Toy Company, and a subsequent bit of eaves dropping in a bar, Ella commits Dashwood’s to planning a last-minute Christmas Party to impress one of Edwards most important clients.

Her overly enthusiastic Christmas spirit and his not-so-jolly dourness cause some clashes as they didn't see eye-to-eye on much at all but in the end, she warms him up, in more ways than one, and despite the occasional planning hitch the event is a great success for both companies.

However, Ella not only works her Christmas Magic on the party she also got into his heart and he into hers.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHERISHED MEMORIES: A GIFT TO REMEMBER 2 (2019)

 

Darcy Archer (Ali Liebert) and Aiden Harris (Peter Porte) prepare to celebrate their second Christmas together, with Darcy running Henley's and Aiden is a crafts teacher.

But all is not plain sailing as they have an unexpected guest staying with Mrs. Henley (Tina Lifford) in the shape of Marcus (Dominic Mariche) who bonds with Bailey the dog, for obvious reasons and with Aiden through a model village project he’s working on as a gift for Darcy.

But the overwhelming topic on everyone’s minds is the beloved community centre, which is threatened with closure as the rich owner David Pearce (Ben Wilkinson) plans to sell it for a lucrative development.

But as the community all have memories tied to the centre everyone unites to seek historical protection and give everyone an unforgettable holiday.

After celebrated chef Josie Byrde (Kim Shaw) is surprised at her restaurant by her nemesis, food critic, Tanner Rhodes (Clayton James) and his editor Pepper Fine (Katrina Norman) she heads home for the holidays.

Her mother Shannon (Cynthia Gibb) is opening a bistro at her bed-and-breakfast and Josie is creating a special Holiday dessert menu for her.

She is enjoying her time with her mom and then Tanner checks in to the B&B which kills the holiday vibe for her and then to make matters worse Pepper comes to the town next.

But in the days following Josie begins to see Tanner in a new light as they share personal information about themselves and soon a holiday romance begins to blossom between them just in time for Christmas.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE CHRISTMAS SWAP (2018)

 

Struggling singing waitress and mother Audrey Turner (Jackie Seiden) and wealthy music executive Julia Samson (Ashley Wood) are both at the same mall and in the same store.

Audrey is cursed with not being able to say no to anyone and as a result has no time for herself.

Julia's life on the other hand is full of luxury, but because of her career she is unable to connect with her family.

In the store they both reach for the same decoration and make a wish that their lives were different and the next morning they wake up in each other’s beds, each other's lives, and in each other’s bodies.

After freaking out they meet up and try to figure out how they swapped and more importantly how they can swap back.

It turns out that the only way is to live each other’s lives and learn how to put things right.

As Christmas looms close, they help each other switch back before they miss Christmas with their own families.
