After
missing out on the reboot, former child star, middle-aged Eve Carter (Leanna Adams) escapes
to the empty house belonging to her sister Ashley Carter
(Ashlee Heath), for
the holidays to keep a low profile and not get into any more viral trouble so
she can land her dream role off Broadway.
However,
although she is only expecting to find Ashley’s pet dog Mickey, she is shocked
to discover an injured stunt man, Ace Strong (Tyler
Buckingham) dog-sitting
for the holidays while recuperating and she wants him out asap.
The
only problem is he won’t go and worse than that he wants her out, so a hostile
beginning moves quickly into a period of tit for tat acts of sabotage.
Eventually
they negotiate a truce, and she even agrees to help him get back with his ex-girlfriend
Bianca (Naddya Alicea) so she can get him out of the house.
The
only problem is in the process of matchmaking they begin to fall for each other.
