THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A MERRY AND BRIGHT CHRISTMAS (2020)

 

Career broadcaster Melissa Merry (Alison Sweeney) and ex NFL footballer Brian Bright (Marc Blucas) co-host the top-rated morning talk show in the country, and to their viewers they are a perfectly amiable duo in front of the cameras.

However, behind the scenes there is great animosity caused by a clash of styles, Mel is a meticulous planner and Brian likes to wing it.

Another difference was that she loves Christmas while he doesn’t celebrate it at all, but despite the differences Mel made it work, so when she is told, Brian has asked to leave the show after the live Christmas Eve Broadcast, she is stunned.

However, she is even more shocked to find out that their normal annual one-off show has been extended to a week culminating on Christmas Eve with a primetime special in the town of Mistletoe.

The series of shows during that week are intended to highlight the town's Christmas traditions but as they progress through a Christmas list of seasonal activities, they find themselves changing the way they view each other, professionally and personally.

But the arrival of his girlfriend Christy (Kat Ruston) looks set to quash any budding romance and there is still Brian’s new job looming on the horizon.

Margot Hammond (Merritt Patterson), is a world famous pianist who has lost her passion for playing and she returns to her hometown to celebrate Christmas with her family at the beautiful Chateau Newhaus.

At the Chateau she is reunited with her ex-boyfriend Jackson Lewis (Luke Macfarlane), who is planning a Christmas concert at the Chateau.

Soon the former bandmates have rekindled their love as they work in harmony to bring the special live music event to remember for friends, family, and the guests.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – FOUR COUSINS AND A CHRISTMAS (2021)

 

Four cousins, Jennifer (Raffaela Capp), Natalyn (Natasha Capp), Millie (Ayla Kell) and Stephanie (Lily Gibson) are summoned home for their beloved grandmother’s memorial by their estranged grandfather, Carlo (Robert Davi).

Having been excited to celebrate Christmas with each other the cousins are unhappy to be around their strict grandfather for the holidays but decide to make the most of the situation and throw a Christmas celebration their grandmother would have enjoyed, with a little pizza and wine.

But issues soon come to the surface and threaten to get in the way but eventually the girls remember family comes first and they celebrate with their grandfather at their side.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – LETTERS FROM CHRISTMAS PAST (2020)

Newspaper reporter Maddie Contino (Jen Lilley) embarks on a US Navy Tiger Cruise also known as the USS Christmas, during the festive season, where she meets handsome naval officer Lt. Billy Jenkins (Trevor Donovan).

Being a serious career officer, he is less than thrilled to be assigned to assist her in researching a story, but his attitude softens after stumbling on a romantic mystery in the ship's archive regarding an old love story and while doing so begin a love story of their own.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – OPEN UP BY CHRISTMAS (2019)

Gwen (Lindy Booth) is an auctioneer employed to downsize a magnificent estate in the run up to Christmas for the dour reclusive owner Alan Hawthorne (Vlasta Vrana).

The success of the clearance is vitally important as her commission would set her up to purchase the auction house.

The fly in the ointment however is the head of the cleaning crew Reed (Justin Bruening) who she had worked with on a previous occasion so there is some friction between them but working on the new project offers them a second opportunity to slowly resolve their issues.

So as the two uncover the house's treasures, they help an aging father to resolve his relationship with his estranged daughter, an unlikely couple find love and lead themselves to find their true feelings and move on to a loving future together.

Due to the backlash from viewers and sponsors alike, she and producer and ex-college boyfriend Jack Brewster (Colin Ferguson) are sent to a small town in North Dakota to film a Christmas special in order to discover her Christmas spirit and repair Kates image,

As she embraces the Christmas festivities the Christmas spirit begins to change her life and along the way, she reconciles with her estranged father Michael (Michael St. John Smith), learns to enjoy Christmas again and falls in love with her former beau.


THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – BEST CHRISTMAS BALL EVER (2019)

 

Amy Michaels (Elisabeth Harnois) had planned a perfect Christmas in Chicago with her boyfriend, but those plans are ruined when he unexpectedly breaks up with her after telling her he has another girlfriend.

Not wanting to spend Christmas alone she decides to visit her half-brother Daniel (Samuel Hunt) who is in Vienna trying to track down relatives on his dad's side of the family.

Looking for new experiences she decides to take a ballroom dancing lesson and is paired with a very handsome European man named Lukas (Christian Oliver).

To use terpsichorean parlance, they get off on the wrong foot, but after initially clashing, their partnership becomes more harmonious and they end up spending the day together and an attraction forms between them but will this new found magnetism lead to love or another broken heart.
