Jack (Benjamin Ayres) is a fourth generation Christmas tree farmer in Avon has to call on the services of Connecticut arborist Olivia (Danica McKellar) as she is the premier expert on evergreens.

Known affectionately as the “Fir Tree Whisperer” her services are called upon just days before the holiday as a mysterious illness has befallen Jack’s firs, causing them to drop their needles within hours of being cut.

Olivia agrees to help Jack the blight that is threatening his 100-year family farm and  stays in town as she tries to get to the root of the problem, and as she and Jack spend more time together, feelings develop.
