Successful novelist Mikaela Leighton (Krystal Joy Brown) is struggling to finish her latest book and during a seminar non-fiction writer Levi McGuire (Curtis Hamilton) suggests that she should revive her deceased mother's annual holiday writers' retreat.

She agrees after her father Irving (James Black) supports the idea and proposes using his snowy chalet in an attempt to cure her writer's block.

One member of the group is the handsome opinionated Levi, and romance is soon ignited between them, but is there more to him that meets the eye?

Just like every Christmas, interior designer Reilly Shore (Genelle Williams) picks a random location to visit.

Her latest destination is the quaint town of Mistletoe Lake, however because of the town's annual Christmas Harbor Festival she had no place to stay.

Luckily, she meets twelve-year-old Emma (Hattie Kragten) and her father Ray (Corey Sevier) and Emma suggests Reilly stay on her dad's boat, which he is in the process of selling and isn’t planning to participate in the festival.

Emma is very sad and enlists Reilly's help to convince Ray to enter so they can have one last perfect Christmas on Mistletoe Lake.

Then romance is on agenda and Christmas magic comes into play.

FBI agent Sydney (Brittany Underwood) is desperate to step out of her father’s shadow and impress her boss Cushing (Tom Arnold).

With the unwilling assistance of a confidential informant Patrick (Jonathan Stoddard) she is engaged in a criminal investigation to catch a criminal boss.

However, when Patrick suddenly goes missing, she recruits his doppelganger, Prince Alexander (Jonathan Stoddard), it’s a desperate move but she reaps surprising  rewards, in the case and on a personal level.

Annie Cooper (Rachel Boston) takes over as CEO of the family's cookie company after her grandmother “Mrs. Cooper” (Jan Skene) passes away, but she has big shoes to fill.

She tries her best to get the struggling business back on track, but her efforts are hampered when the secret recipe for their famous Christmas Cookie is stolen during the company Christmas party.

Annie wants to discover the thief’s identity without including the police and is led to Sam Hobbs (Victor Webster) the owner of a local bakery.

Between then they try to recreate her grandmother’s recipe and make something even more special along the way.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS MASQUERADE (2022)

 

Lara (Cory Lee) runs her own very successful PR business and has an endless list of holiday parties to attend and having spent time with Nora (Maya Misaljevic), the daughter of her assistant, Julianne (Erin Agostino), suggests that she should babysit Nora and allow Julianna to attend the Masquerade ball.

During the ball she meets wannabe ambassador Michael (David Lafontaine) a client Lara has been trying to secure, and as Juliana and he made a connection Lara volunteers to babysit for the duration of the switch until the deal is done.

As they work together in the run up to Christmas a closeness develops that might just be love.
