THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS IN THE COTSWOLDS (2023)

 

Events planner, Emma Taylor (Kimberley Nixon) had no intention of having an English Country Christmas, far from it, but her sister Amy Taylor (Poppy Gilbert) has other ideas, when she asks her to plan her wedding which is set for Christmas Eve.

She is genuinely happy to be asked but in order to get the right blend of classy professional glitz and crafty rustic charm, Emma is forced to team up with a local Market Owner Dylan Mark (Lewis Griffiths) to plan the big day.

Initially the chalk and cheese couple are at odds with their visions of a Christmas Wedding but eventually they meet in the middle in more ways than one.

The lodge is struggling and in need of renovation and she sees no future for it and sees it as a metaphor for her life, but after building a snowman with her sister Grace (Farrah Aviva), imbued with the traits of her perfect man, a contractor by the name of  Forest (Damon Runyan), seems to appear from nowhere who ticks all of her boxes.

But is he too good to be true?

Young professional photographer, Aimée Tremblay (Mercy Cornwall) returns home to her ranch in Snowy Oak after she receives multiple letters informing her that farm manager, and former fiancé, James Hunt (Jordi Webber) had cancelled her family's traditional Christmas party.

Aimée, hadn’t been home for the eight years following her mother’s death and it came as a shock to find the ranch was struggling and might have to be sold.

So, her task was clear, save the ranch, save Christmas, and rekindle an old love.
