THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – GREYSON FAMILY CHRISTMAS (2021)

Maya Greyson (Kalilah Harris) is an active liberal progressive law student, and she goes home for Christmas and takes her boyfriend Trent (Karson Kern) with her to meet her family for the first time.

Trent is head-over-heels in love with Maya, but his arrival is a shock to Maya's family, because he is white, and the most shocked of all of them is her mom Renee (Robinne Lee).

Which didn’t bode well considering his plans to give Maya an engagement ring on Christmas Day.

Lizzie Hinnel (Odette Annable) is preparing to marry Josh Wright (Charles Michael Davis) on New Years Eve, but the preparations are complicated by her micromanaging mother-in-law to be (Sheryl Lee Ralph) and more significantly her insomnia.

She would often take late night drives to try to induce tiredness and one night she accidentally hits Billy Wilson (Dave Annable), a bartender who also suffers from insomnia.

After insisting on driving him to the hospital, but they both fall asleep in the hospital parking lot outside, they both fall asleep in the car.

Feeling refreshed after a sound sleep, they strike up a deal to sleep together again which works every time, but things become more complicated when they develop feelings for one another.

Olivia Anderson (Lea Michele) and Jeff Williams (Charles Michael Davis) first met when they were six years old at a resort hotel in Hawaii where their families were staying for Christmas and both families returned every Christmas until they reached their teens when they shared their first kiss.

The following year however the Williams family didn’t appear as Jeff's mother had died and although Olivia repeatedly called and left voice mails, but she got no response, and they stopped going after that.

Olivia's family kept up the Christmas-in-Hawaii tradition though and then one year out of the blue when they were grownups, Jeff and his father arrived at the resort having decided to revive the tradition and its clear that the spark is still there.

Unfortunately Jeff isn’t free.

The following year roles were reversed, and it was Olivia who wasn’t free, but the heart wants what the heart wants so what will this Christmas bring?

She agrees after discovering that she had two half-sisters but only on the basis that she meets him without revealing her identity.

As she spends time with the Bergeron’s she begins to fall in love with them as a family, and with Jackson Shepard (Ryan Rottman) the town archivist, who encourages her to tell her father who she is, but she is afraid that he might reject her a second time.

Social Media Influencer Mona (Mishael Morgan) returns to her hometown of Milton to help with her family's Christmas Carnival and reconnects with her high school sweetheart Fletcher (Jaime M. Callica) but also a magazine photojournalist Dez (Ronnie Rowe) is in town, and staying in her mum’s guest room, to do a piece on the carnival for the Christmas Eve edition.

So which one of them will win her heart?
