THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – SANTA BABY 2 (2009)

 

Santa (Paul Sorvino) is ready to let his business-minded daughter, Mary (Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg), take over the family business as he's tired of the responsibilities of the job.

Mary of course feels torn between the North Pole and running her successful marketing firm in New York City, while balancing a relationship with Luke Jessup (Dean McDermott).

However there is trouble at the pole in the form of Teri (Kelly Stables), a mysterious and ambitious newcomer who wants to be the new Santa and is sneakily manipulating people to make that happen.

So it’s up to Mary get to bottom of the skullduggery and  straighten things out in time to save Christmas.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – HE WHO FINDETH (2023)

 

Daniel Anderson (Brad James) is the heir to the Anderson Corporation throne and is about to turn 30 and more importantly to his well-intentioned meddling parents he is single.

So they decide to throw a ball, on the pretext of launching his new charity but in reality, it is to find him a life partner and get him to settle down and invite a host of eligible single ladies.

Event planner Lizzie (Erica Hubbard) wins the bid to organise the event and as she and Daniel work together on the plans for the ball and an attraction form between them, but will it come to anything with all the plotting socialites with their sights set on Daniel.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – EBENEEZER (1998)

 

A reworking of Charles Dickens well spun yarn of redemption.

This retelling of the story is set in a Wild West Town where Ebeneezer Scrooge (Jack Palance) a heartless grasping bitter old miserly land baron, gunfighter, and cheating card sharp who is visited on Christmas Eve by the ghost of his old partner Jacob Marlowe (Richard Halliday), who scares him with tales of hell and warns him he will have further visitations to give him a long-overdue attitude adjustment and show him the errors of his ways.

The first visitor is the ghost of Christmas Past (Michelle Thrush), the second visitor is the ghost of Christmas Present (Richard Comar) and the Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come is (Morris Chapdelaine).

Between them they force him to face the consequences of his skinflint ways, and as a result he becomes a caring, generous, amiable man and discovers the true spirit of Christmas.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS INVITATION (2022)

 

“A Christmas Invitation” tells the story of a very dysfunctional family brought together through the dying wish of the family matriarch Jeanette (Rosie Andlauer) to send out an invitation to attend one last family holiday party on Christmas Eve.

Everyone reluctantly agrees to attend where old family feuds abound and  skeletons emerge from the closet with some unexpected plot twists.

 

Brent Northup, Eric Michaelian, Lorrie Bacon, Phil Godeck, Matt Hebert, Jesse Waegelein-Hall, Aaron Schacht, Sharon Marr, Rick Caride, Nat Cook, Angela Taylor, Pawel Watracz, Rosie Andlauer, Zoe Wells, Lisa J. Coleman, Martin DuPlessis, Pete Baez and Tom Hebert make up the cast of this Christmas farce.

Average teenager Brian (Owen Osborne) is navigating his way through life, friendships, love and his faith.

So it’s a little out of character when Brian he decides to arrange a Christmas party in the youth sanctuary after hours to impress a girl in his youth choir Angela (Abigail Grace Korenthal),

He and his best friend Antwon (William David Billions) get a lot more than what they bargained for after the party is in motion, two men come to rob the church, so Brian has to figure out a way to save the girl, himself and the party.

Grace is a good person and possesses the best Christian virtues, and her faith is set to be tested after the arrival of the six motherless ruffian Herdman siblings who have a terrible reputation.

In the absence of other volunteers Grace is prepared to accept the infamous family for major roles, even though most of the town and even her children think it’s a mistake.

Grace uses her people and drama skills to pull the pageant together and her faith in the outcasts bears fruit and actually helps teach the community the true meaning of Christmas.
