THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – CHRISTMAS AT GRACELAND (2018)

 

Laurel (Kellie Pickler) was born and bred in Memphis but is based in Chicago working for a bank as a business executive.

However she returns to her hometown with her daughter Emma (Claire Elizabeth Green) in time for Christmas as her boss (Ned Vaughn) sends her to Memphis to secure the takeover of one of the city's oldest family-owned banks.

While in town she reunites with old flame Clay, a local music promoter

The owner of Cypress bank, Mr Franklin (Tommy Cresswell) is reluctant to sign the deal as he is worried about redundancies, but her boss is a money man.

While in town she reunites with local music promoter and old flame Clay (Wes Brown) who she used to perform with ten years earlier.

Laurel tries to stay focused on work, but spending time with Clay reminiscing about the past, they even perform together and enjoy a holiday romance.

But when problems arise with the deal she's called back to Chicago, she has to choose whether to return or remain in Memphis and embrace her roots and secure a happy future.
