Kelsey Wilson (Jocelyn Hudon) gets her big break when her beloved cousin Emily (Rebecca Dalton) hires her to plan her lavish society Christmas Wedding to Todd (Eric Hicks).

With the days passing by towards the event everything is going according to plan until handsome private investigator, Connor McClane, turns everything upside-down when she tells him she has been hired to investigate the groom, and he persuades her to help him.

In the process Connor manages to disrupt the rapidly approaching nuptials but wins Kelsey's heart along the way.

The owner of Cypress bank, Mr Franklin (Tommy Cresswell) is reluctant to sign the deal as he is worried about redundancies, but her boss is a money man.

Laurel tries to stay focused on work, but spending time with Clay reminiscing about the past, they even perform together and enjoy a holiday romance.

But when problems arise with the deal she's called back to Chicago, she has to choose whether to return or remain in Memphis and embrace her roots and secure a happy future.
