Executive
P.J. (Johnathan Robinson) is forcefully persuaded into going home for Christmas
by his boss Mr. Hugh (Jonathan Sorapuru) despite being expected to spend
Christmas with his girlfriend Lauren (Lauren Bachtel) and her family.
After
not seeing his family for over seven years, the entire family returns home to
New Orleans for the Christmas season, including his father Phillip Jones Sr
(Calvin W. Hall) who had, unknown to him, reunited with his mother (Heliana
Simon).
So,
he immediately calls the airline to get a flight back to Texas, when that fails,
he decides to drive, but his brother Kevin (Jeffrey J. Ambrose Jr.) sabotages
his car.
After
getting reacquainted with his brother and his crazy aunts and uncles and
numerous cousins he reconnects with his high school sweetheart, Rebecca
(Jessica Legaux).
Arguments
with his father and a heart to heart with his mum he is reminded of the
importance of love, family and forgiveness.
