Callie
Shaw (Rachel Boston) is an aspiring chef, who is prepared to start at the
bottom and thanks to her decoration-expert father Frank (Paul McGillion) she
gets a job as dishwasher at the country club where Chef Gloria (Brenda Strong)
runs the kitchen.
On
her first day she runs into her childhood friend David Manning (David Alpay)
who is expected to succeed his tycoon father Ellis (Mark Brandon) as CEO of an
investment firm.
There
is an immediate spark between them and when he finds out she's expert at ice
sculpting he enters her in the club's annual ice sculpting competition without
her knowledge.
Unfortunately,
she would be up against her new boss chef Gloria, who is a three-time winner,
so she’s unhappy about it, because she doesn’t want to appear disloyal, but
when she can’t get out of it, David agrees to train as Callie's partner in the
competition.
On
top of everything else Callie has to contend with Gloria's jealous deputy Jen (Leanne
Lapp) who stops at nothing to sabotage her because her work ethic impresses
chef Gloria.
So
will Callie's passions for cooking and ice sculpting win out and will David
pursue his father’s dream or follow his own path, but more importantly will
romance bloom for Christmas.
