THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – SOMETHING FROM TIFFANY'S (2022)

 

In New York before Christmas Ethan Greene (Kendrick Sampson) and his daughter Daisy (Leah Sava' Jeffries) are at Tiffany's to buy an engagement ring for his girlfriend Vanessa (Shay Mitchell).

At the same time Gary Wilson (Ray Nicholson) is there to buy earrings for his girlfriend Rachel Meyer (Zoey Deutch) however outside the store Gary is runover by a cab and while Ethan is helping him the packages get mixed up, but the switch doesn’t come to light until Christmas Day.

Following the accident, Ethan and Rachel make a connection, but both are in relationships so can it really go anywhere? Do they even want it to?

Mia Parker (Kathryn Davis) runs a gift-wrapping shop, All Wrapped Up, with her three best friends Lily Morgan, Tina Mitchell and Olivia Matheson (Ashley Newbrough, Natalie Hall and Cindy Busby)

The Gala is especially important as All Wrapped Up are sponsoring the event, but things go awry from the moment Mia’s sister Ashlyn (Tara O'Brien) arrives unexpectedly to crash at her apartment with her cat.

To escape the effects off her allergies romance novel enthusiast Mia begins sleeping at the shop and a late-night customer Beau Cavannagh (Nathan Witte) thinks the shop is open after Mia left the lights on.    

Her life is altered after the dashing romantic figure as he's the spitting image of the hero of her favourite book, but she can't believe someone like him would be interested in her as he is the heir to a wealthy family and at the same time everything starts to go wrong with her diligent admin for the Gala.

So will the romantic literature enthusiast capture the heart of the handsome philanthropist and get the supplies needed to make the Gala a success.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THREE WISEMEN 2 (2024)

 

At Christmas in Spruce Grove, brothers Luke, Taylor, and Stephan Brenner (Andrew W. Walker, Tyler Hynes and Paul Campbell) have to take on the school musical at the school of Luke's son Thomas (Miles Marthaller) after they are instrumental in causing the director to quit while Luke is in sole charge of his son while his mum Sophie (Nicole Major) is away.

In addition to that the brothers have to come to terms with the fact that their mother Barbara (Margaret Colin) has a new man in her life Roy (Christopher Shyer).

In everyday life Luke is a Fire Chief and is finding it difficult to delegate minor tasks, Stephan is in a relationship with Susie (Fiona Vroom) which has reached a hiatus

While video game designer is alone homeless and penniless and forced to move back home to his mum’s basement but through the concert, he meets likeminded musician Caroline (Erin Karpluk) who is a more polished version of himself.

All comes good at the end of a very chaotic Christmas season.

The story centres on Christmas Eve at 7 Cherry Lane over a period of 55 years beginning in 1960 when Eli and Penny Kramer (Benjamin Ayres and Erica Durance) play host to Eli's rumpy father, Walter (Serge Houde), while working on a Christmas themed time capsule for a school project for their son Alex (Noah Bromley).

 

In 1998 Widowed Regina Johnston (Catherine Bell) lives alone at the house but after her first meeting with Nelson King (James Denton) they become stuck together when a blizzard strands him in Regina's home.

 

And in 2015 Jessie Watson (Julie Gonzalo) is facing a huge challenge in planning her sister's last-minute Christmas Eve wedding in which the officiant is her old high school sweetheart, Tim Whitman (Ryan Rottman), who she hasn't seen in almost 20 years.

 

Amidst the trials and tribulations of the three featured Christmas Eves there are characters that thread their way across the years.
