A young and ambitious politician Gloria Winters (Savannah Lathem) is working her way up the political greasy pole and accepts the appointment of Secretary of Agriculture and  has to leave Washington with her assistant Jill (Marley Ames) and travel to the farming community of Snow Point to meet local leader Mayor Christian Baker (Chase Giacomo) who Gloria thinks is a hick.

They stay at the Inn run by the Mayors sister Carol (Ebie Adkins) which isn’t up Gloria’s standards, and she moans about everything.

Gloria and Chris are like chalk and cheese, and it seems unlikely they will ever see eye to eye on anything, but as she actually starts to meet the people on the farms her true nature comes to the surface and finds her vocation and true love in the countryside.
