THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – UNFORGETTABLE CHRISTMAS (2023)

 

Princess Colette D'Antonio (Celeste Desjardins) and her younger sister Adriana (Celeste Bruno) are staying in New York in preparation for the Christmas Eve Charity Gala.  

But she would rather be a fashion designer than second in line to her country's throne.

Then one day following pressure from her mother, the Princess Royal (Sarah Orenstein), while on the way to meet fashion designer Wilson James (Brett Donahue) she is knocked unconscious and loses her memory and is then mistaken for his new assistant “Adele”.

Only his sister Maya (Bree Wasylenko) realises she is not Adele and confronts her, but as she had a positive effect on Wilson, who had been in a bit of a creative slump, she decides not to say anything and as she can’t remember where she lives, after taking her to for an MRI, she takes her home and introduces her to her daughter Aurora (Maya Misaljevic) and they both make her feel at home.

As she works closely with Wilson on the Christmas line, she finds her true calling and her true love.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – DESTINATION CHRISTMAS (2022)

 

Chicago toy company SVP, Emma Warner (Natasha Wilson) lives and breathes Christmas 24/7 leaving no time for a love life so when the Christmas break comes, she plans a trip to a Caribbean singles resort in St John, however she ends up in Christmas obsessed St John Alaska.

At the airport she meets town Mayor Connor (Edward Ruttle) who drives her to the Sleighbell Inn run by his sister Callie (Eva Tavares) and her wife Anna (Crystal Tisiga).

Due to the weather the airport is closed so she is stuck in St John, so  Connor has to deal with scroogie Emma.

But as they spend time together, they grow close and the activities evoke Christmas memories of her childhood and she thaws.

However she still plans to fly out when the airport reopens unless Connor can persuade her to stay but Connor has a secret which might undo all of his good work and  drive her away.

Ellie Sanders (Annie Clark) is a computer game designer who has developed a bad habit of ghosting men that she meets on dating sites, forums and social media, because of her reluctance to take the next step.

At the office Christmas party her colleague Charlie Brenson (Dan Jeannotte) encourages her to see the fortune teller, Rhonda P. Magyk (Lynne Griffin) and it is predicted that if she doesn't contact all the parties she has ghosted and apologize before midnight on Christmas Eve, she will never find true love.

So while working on a new game with Charlie, he helps her with the list of Ghostees and she finds a relationship in real life.

Illusionist Ally (Emilie Ullerup), AKA “Ally the Disappearer”, doesn't actually believe in magic, especially not Christmas Magic, but then she doesn't like Christmas.

However with Christmas approaching her manager, Pat (Jinesea Bianca Lewis) tries to encourage her to incorporate some reference to Christmas magic in her shows, but Ally resists.

On her way to perform at the biggest gig in her career in Las Vegas she stops in the small town of Miracle, CO, to do a highly publicized warm-up event in the town that claims to be the home of Christmas magic.

The next day they are unable to leave as they’re snowed in, sort of, as there is an immovable mound of ice on the bridge blocking the only road in and out of town.

She is befriended by Tim Cosgrove (Harmon Walsh) who believes in the magic of Miracle, but no matter what Ally does, the magic of Miracle is keeping her there.

With Tim’s help Ally comes to realise that she has to address the issue that made her lose her Christmas spirit of Christmas in order to get to Vegas.

But will she want to leave Tim behind?
