THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – OPERATION NUTCRACKER (2024)

 

Event planner Lottie (Ashley Newbrough) gets the chance to plan the prestige Warby family Christmas Charity Auction in Boston for the demanding Erica (Jennifer Dale),

with the added pressure of a promotion to head up the Boston office on the line.

The star of the show is an antique nutcracker which goes missing in a three-way baggage mix-up.

Lottie has to team up with the free-spirited heir to the Warby dynasty, Tristan (Christopher Russell) to track down the nutcracker, but while they search, they capture the heart and spirit of Christmas and romance blossoms.

When Emily (Heather Hemmens) was a teenager, her mother Melody (Sharon Taylor) bought a farm in the country and moved her and her brother out of Seattle, which Emily resented, and as soon as she could, she moved away.

Since then she returned home very infrequently and then when her mother died her brother Nick (Antonio Cayonne) took over the farm, but he was struggling to organise the Christmas festival their mother hosted every year.

So Emily reluctantly returns home to help and unexpectedly connects with Luke

(Marco Grazzin), a local artist helping out on the farm.

But will they  have a future together when the Christmas festival is over and it’s time to leave.

He has just sacked his previous planning firm, because they couldn’t come up with the perfect Santa, so Emily heads to Santa Bootcamp run by the formidable Belle (Rita Moreno), to find the perfect Santa Claus but Belle makes her sign up for the coarse.

While she’s there she meets chef Aiden (Justin Gaston) and Belle keeps pushing them together and as the coarse goes on they are both forced to reevaluate their goals.

But reconciling Jo’s children’s differences is not the only reason for them sharing a Scottish Christmas and it’s a surprise that’s going to change their lives for ever.

As it’s a charity concert Colin fully engages in the concert and the charity, but he is soon even more fully engaged with Dee Dee, and she with him.

But it’s only a matter of time before his true identity is revealed and how will she react?
