First-generation
immigrants Jim and Sue Chen (Vincent Cheng and Sharon Crandall) have spent a
lifetime running the Golden Dragon in Wichita, Kansas.
But
right before Christmas they announce they are closing the restaurant on Christmas
Eve, which is a surprise to everyone not least their children Romy and Rick (Kara
Wang and Osric Chau) who were raised in the Golden dragon.
So
as it’s the last Christmas the staff and customers want to show how important
the place has been to them as they re-examine their relationships in a series
of interconnected stories amid the chaos of its busiest week of the year.
