Successful New York writer Olivia Perkins (Rhiannon Fish) has writer’s block which is compounded by her boyfriend Kyle (Juan Fernando Monge) breaking up with her when she has just arranged a special trip for their anniversary to the tropical Haven Isles.  

So she and her best friend Katie (Cara McCarthy) go on the holiday together instead and she meets Prince Alexander of Torovia (Mitchell Bourke) who in on the islands to escape Queen Patricia (Andrea Moor) and her wedding plans for him.

Olivia doesn’t know he’s a Prince however, she thinks he’s there to host a wildlife rescue gala, but a friendship is formed, and as they experience all the Island has to offer, Olivia and Alexander grow closer.

When Talented London Chef Abby (Emily Tennant) realises that her head Chef boyfriend has been using her, she dumps him and resigns.

During dinner she declares that she needs a change, so her parents encourage her to get away for a while to an Aunts apartment in Chicago for Christmas as she is away.   

Which is where she meets Jack (Niall Matter), the architect in charge of renovating the Brownstone building.

While she is there she is persuaded by one of her neighbours, because of her culinary background, to take on a side job on the Holiday Hotline, that provides advice on cooking turkey, from Thanksgiving until Christmas Eve.

She puts on an American accent and works under the pseudonym “Peggy” and connects with a single dad, John, who needs to learn how to cook Christmas turkey for his preteen daughter Jessica (Myla Volk).
