Corporate
developer Hilary Shaw (Alicia Josipovic) works for Shaw Development and is
sent to Midnight Clear by her father to pressurise the struggling towns people
into selling up so the town can be torn down and rebuilt.
Her
first port of call was the Church where she faced immediate opposition from a
local pastor, Daniel Porter (Jon McLaren).
After
meeting the towns people and hearing their stories and learning the history of
the town she comes up with a plan to save the town instead, and a change in her
perspective leads to unexpected feelings between Hilary and Daniel.
