Puzzle Editor for Cynthia Marshal (Vivica A. Fox) at the Metropolitan
Ledger and part time consulting detective Vera Vexley (Morgan Bradley) is
invited to spend the holidays with the dysfunctional Sterling family at their
country estate.
However
when the head of the family Harold Sterling (Michael Paré) is found dead on
Christmas morning, she finds herself leading a murder investigation along with Deputy Neal (Harrison Russell), putting her at odds with the arrogant,
bickering and distraught family.
It
soon becomes apparent that one of the assembled houseguests is the murderer, but
question is was it one of the Sterling’s, Ellen, Troy
or Michael (Caryn Richman, Rob Mayes,
Randy Jay Burrell) or one of the others, Jan,
Catherine the family lawyer Darren Caldwell (Jamie Bernadette,
Katy Wilson, Jason-Shane Scott)?
