Isabelle Williams (Tatyana Ali) is a successful songwriter in New York but her inspiration has dried up so her boss persuades her to return to her hometown to write music for the annual Christmas Eve Pageant, once there she realises that she has to work with her old flame Michael Hill (Cornelius Smith Jr) who is the director.

Every year, when they were high school sweetheart Belle and Mike rocked the Christmas Eve Pageant with a sweet Christmas duet.

However, after graduation, Isabelle left to study at Juilliard in New York, leaving Mike behind.

They are both shocked to learn that they will be working together and wonder if they can put the past behind them and reunite on stage for another show-stopping duet.

Elle Bennet (Brooke Nevin) decides to reunite her college friends for a special Christmas celebration, but her plans are thwarted by a work opportunity that she just can't pass up, namely spearheading the re-launch of a prestige Christmas campaign.

If she nails it, it will prove she's ready for a career-altering promotion.

The only fly in the ointment is that much to her surprise, she must team up with advertising campaign 'fixer' Max Turner (Michael Cassidy), and the pair prove to have very different takes on the Holidays.

But as Elle and Max work closely together, and learn more about each other's Christmas traditions, with the help of a little Christmas magic, they unexpectedly find themselves falling for each other.

So, all that remains in this charming film is for Elle to pull off the perfect Christmas reunion, successfully relaunch the campaign and find the love she's been searching for.
