THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – JOYEUX NOEL (2023)

A romantic painting of a French Christmas market at the Museum of Modern Art captures the imagination of Denver Post copy editor Lea (Jaicy Elliot) and after coming into possession of a musical jewellery box from the same period of the painting in which she found an incomplete journal in a hidden compartment about an unnamed artist and a young woman.

As she is an aspiring reporter, she pitches the idea to her Editor because she’s looking for a feature story for their holiday edition but seasoned reporter Mark (Brant Daugherty) has already been assigned, so Lea is sent along with him to Petit Marchon in France.

Mark had never paid much attention to her in the office due to the difference in their status, and she always referred to him as "Moody Mark".

They certainly seem mismatched as he is a hard-bitten reporter who is unhappy being assigned a Christmas fluff piece and Lea is a romantic at heart who believes it’s her story and could have been her big break.

Its Lea’s first ever international trip, and she’s determined to get the most out of it and test out the legend of love being found at the Christmas market.

Despite their different working styles and different levels of experience, they find a balance investigating the story and find that the Christmas market works its magic in ways they least expect.
