Ceci Carmichael (Kimberley Sustad) is a photographer for the local newspaper in the small-town of Harmony Bay who is still grieving the recent loss of her father and as a result has cancelled the local Christmas tradition he created called “Good Night” at which the townspeople decorate trees on the Carmichael grounds, with the proceeds from the Christmas tree sales being donated to charitable causes.
One
day she is out taking photos when she witnesses an accident where a
motorcyclist Sam Calloway (Mark Ghanimé) crashes in the woods, so she goes to
his aid and saves his life, but in the moments before losing consciousness he
asks her to marry him.
However when she visits him in the hospital, she discovers he’s a property
developer and she suspects he is trying
to buy the parcel of land owned jointly by her and her step mother Vivian
(Karen Kruper).
However
once misunderstandings are straightened out, unexpected events unfold, and
suddenly they are a couple, and they find themselves reviving her father's
tradition.
