An amusing reworking of Charles Dickens well spun yarn of redemption.
This retelling of the story is about Chance Love (Brittany Underwood), an entitled spoiled pop star whose demanding nature has alienated everyone around her.
So on Christmas
Eve she is visited in her home by the Ghost of
her Grandfather Jack Love (Mark McGrath) to force her to confront who she is,
who she once was and the dismal fate that awaits her after trading love for
fame and fortune long ago.
He tells Chance that she has lost sight of the things that are truly important in life
and that she will have further visitation to show her the errors of her ways
and save her from his own fate.
Her first visitor is a crooner, the Ghost
of Christmas Past (Jim O'Heir), followed by a spoken word poet, the Ghost
of Christmas Present (Mark
Christopher Lawrence) and finally Death (Vivica A. Fox) Ghost of Christmas Yet To Come.
Between them they must open her eyes to her
behaviour and show her what she is missing out on and help her discover the
true spirit of Christmas and mend the rift between her and her family while showing her who is really important to
her.
