In this Animated adventure sequel the Snow Queen (Cindy Robinson) casts a curse on her mirror making people see the worst in themselves.

A troll called Orm (Sharlto Copley), who a year earlier helped a girl named Gerda (Bella Thorne), and her pet ferret Luta, defeat the Snow Queen and release the world from eternal winter.

But by his constant lying Orm creates in the mirror the reflection of the demon inside him, the Snow King.

The demon eventually takes over completely and freezes everyone who resists him, so Orm needs to reassert himself to become the hero to save the world from eternal winter.

On Christmas Eve in Wales, young Thomas (Mathonwy Reeves) is naturally excited about Christmas but is disappointed due to the weather as it was raining instead of snowing.

As a result in order to cheer him up, his grandfather (Denholm Elliott) gives him an old snow globe as an early Christmas present and begins to regale him with stories about his childhood Christmases.

Thomas enjoys them greatly and keeps asking his grandfather for more because he doesn't want to go to bed but his parents finally insist that he goes to bed.

Once Thomas is in bed, he lies in bed listening to his family singing carols downstairs until he finally falls asleep.

At the end of the evening when his grandfather opens the bedroom window and sees falling snowflakes he smiles.

He is brutally attacked and robbed after they discover he’s a cop and it looks unlikely he’s going to make it home for Christmas dinner with his wife and daughter (Tiffany and Mia Walker) it’s up to his partner Marcus (Jeff Dolecek) to track him down and save the day.

Santa (Paul Sorvino) is ready to let his business-minded daughter, Mary (Jenny McCarthy-Wahlberg), take over the family business as he's tired of the responsibilities of the job.

Mary of course feels torn between the North Pole and running her successful marketing firm in New York City, while balancing a relationship with Luke Jessup (Dean McDermott).

However there is trouble at the pole in the form of Teri (Kelly Stables), a mysterious and ambitious newcomer who wants to be the new Santa and is sneakily manipulating people to make that happen.

So it’s up to Mary get to bottom of the skullduggery and  straighten things out in time to save Christmas.
