THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE GIFTS OF CHRISTMAS (2024)

 

Taya Orchard (Teagan Vincze) is the hardworking owner of the busy but struggling Elk Ridge resort when she reconnects with former beau Bradley Palmer (Clayton James) who books into the resort with his colleague Miranda (Brenna Coates).

There are obvious sparks at the reunion and they end up spending a lot of time together but Taya is worried about the resorts financial challenges and her unscrupulous accountant Jeff (Thomas Perras), fortunately Miranda is a forensic accountant so she easily untangles the fraud while becoming tangled with Chef Phillipe (Alex Rose) so they all manage to save Elk Ridge and find love in the process.

In the small quaint coastal community of Paradise, South Carolina a new Christmas hating City inspector Ben Cashman (Jose Vasquez) and wants to expunge every trace of it.

However Tashandra (Jaeda Jordan) isn’t about to let an outsider from New York city ruin her favourite time of the year and new merchant Nic (Josh Kay) defies Ben at every turn.

When embittered Charley and Erika (Richard Lake and Shay Denison) cross paths it leads to an unlikely empathy.

Single mom Elizabeth (Meri Beth Howard) and her daughter Bella (Sophie Belle Henry) have just moved to Paradise for a new start, and meets another newcomer Tim Johnson (John Wes Lewis) and connect.

So between them will they save Christmas in Paradise?

Military widow Vanessa Mayfield (Jana Kramer) is searching for her lost family heirloom, a ruby and diamond  ring which she lost, and searches every junk shop and antique shop she comes across.

While dropping her daughter Sadie Mayfield (Megan Ashley Brown) at college she walks into Millers Antiques run by father and son  Howard and Ben Miller (Kelsey Grammer and Benjamin Hollingsworth).

She meets Ben,  who is a widower, while searching the ring selection and the two forge a deep friendship that leads to a breathtaking romance.

However there are clouds on the horizon by the time Christmas comes around, firstly she hasn’t told her daughter she has a boyfriend and secondly the missing ring is about to be sold, by Ben’s father. 

So will things work out for the best right before Christmas.

Nine-year-old Felice Wallace (Jenna Boyd) writes a sweet letter to Santa Claus with a special wish for Christmas, a mom for her and a wife for her dad Joel Wallace (John Schneider).

A cynical television station news director Mac Reeves (Daniel Roebuck) hijacks the letter and after its read out on live TV he assigns a hard-bitten reporter Mary Maloney (Cynthia Gibb) to work the story.

With the help of a male nanny Les Turner (Tom Bosley) and Felice’s wonderous faith Mary finds that with Christmas magic wishes really can come true.

Mergers and Acquisitions lawyer Sophie Marlow (Candace Cameron Bure) receives a phone call from Erin (Hilary Jardine) just before Christmas informing her that her great Uncle Henry (Cameron McDonald) had passed away and left her 60% of his estate.

The other 40% was left to her childhood friend and famous screenwriter Sam Stackhouse (Cameron Mathison).

So Sophie travels to Waynesbridge in Washington to sign the papers and visits the Maple Meadows Farm which she had inherited and reconnects with Sam in a very different way than she could have hoped for.
