“The Willows in Winter” is a delightful, animated Christmas tale
featuring characters created by Kenneth Grahame.
In
the depths of winter Mole (Alan Bennett) responds to what he thinks is
an urgent summons from his friend Rat (Michael Palin)
and disappears in a snowstorm and falls in the river.
So, Rat, Badger (Michael Gambon) Otter (Enn
Reitel), Nephew Mole (Adrian Scarborough) and Portly (Zoot Lynam) form a frantic search
party to try to find him, they even reluctantly enlist
the help
of Toad and his new airplane to find their friend.
