Valley needs to get back to its hopeful, joyous roots and decides to host Hope
Valley Days, a collective celebration inspired by giving, fun, hope, and love.
School teacher Elizabeth Thornton (Erin Krakow) arrives home from
a trip to Hamilton and gets her preference of Thanksgiving, Florence and Ned Yost (Loretta Walsh and Hrothgar Mathews) choose
Hanuka whereas Valentines Day is Mei Sou (Amanda Wong) selection, and Rosemary
and Leland Coulter (Pascale Hutton and Kavan Smith) are delighted to get
Halloween.
Mayor Hickham goes on to joke that Bill Avery
(Jack Wagner) should get April Fooks Day.
All of this against the backdrop of a new mayoral
election, and Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Elizabeth grab moments in
their relationship and Elizabeth's
book is finally published and is the talk of the town, and Lucas plans a
surprise party to celebrate the event.
