Only child, Oliver Richmond (Andrew Beckham), is a lonely kid because he hardly ever sees his workaholic parents, Jessica (Shannon Elizabeth) and Jeff (Jason Burks).
Because
of that he reaches out in desperation to some classmates, and although they’re
bad news he reluctantly joins their gang and on his first day as a member, the
gang take over a foreclosed home for the holidays.
The
former owners had abandoned the house and contents and left town, even leaving
behind a Golden retriever and her five puppies, animal welfare had taken the
mother to a shelter but the puppies were left behind.
When
they were discovered the gang leader saw an opportunity to make some money but
Oliver just fell in love with them, and that’s when the adventures begin as
Oliver attempts to reunite the puppies with their mother and along the way
roles are reversed as the dogs help him reconnect with his parents as they all
foil a robbery on Christmas Eve.
The
vocal talents of Haylie Duff, Kim Little, G.K. Bowes, Darrel Guilbeau, Steve
Sirkis, Kyle Hebert, Roel Navarro and Megan Miller bring the canine characters
to life in the pleasing children’s movie.
