Hannah Dunbar (Lacey Chabert) is a successful TV Anchor-woman, but after winning a major promotion to the New York bureau, finds herself wondering what her life would have been had she stayed with the love of her life, Ben Matthews (Tyron Leitso), who she left behind in their home town 10 years before.
After talking to a
Salvation Army Santa Claus (Keith MacKechnie) who takes her words as a
Christmas wish he transports her to a version of her life where she and Ben
where married with a family, Caitlin and Hailie (Milli Wilkinson and Audrey
Smallman). Hannah literally becomes a mother overnight and has to navigate the
day-to-day challenges of life in the suburbs with Ben and their daughters with
comical effect, while simultaneously trying to figure out how to get back or if
that’s actually what she wants.
Lacey Chabert is
excellent in the lead in this enjoyable and engaging Christmas treat.
