The etiquette for Christmas cards
Is simple,
you just have to remember
If you can’t
get it there for the day
Make sure it still
arrives in December
The etiquette for Christmas cards
Is simple,
you just have to remember
If you can’t
get it there for the day
Make sure it still
arrives in December
If you want next Christmas
To be happy and merry
Then insure the
Christmas card
You send to your
sister Kerry
Has sufficient postage
And arrives before
January
Single parent Maggie McPhail (Chandra West) is stuck in a rut, her boss at the ice cream company where she works, Mr. Harvey (Jay Brazeau), doesn't appreciate her and her work is being constantly undermined by weasel co-worker Brendon Lutz (Nicholas Carella) and her pathetic boyfriend Chance Glidewell (Kyle Cassie) breaks up with her with Christmas just around the corner.
Meanwhile a
stay-at-home sports writer Jack Burgin (Antonio Cupo), another single parent
who is a raising his teenage daughter Olivia (Tiera Skovbye), finally gives in
to her pestering him to get her a dog and brings home a Golden Retriever which
he names Bear.
Olivia falls in love
with him instantly but Bear's runaway tendencies get him locked up at the
pound, which is where Maggie finds him and adopts him for her son Ethan (Beamer
Wigley) and they name him Paisley.
And so the stage is set for an engaging romantic Christmas movie.
I've always loved my Santa
But you might find
this shocking
I’ve never loved him
more
Than when his hand is
on my stocking
It’s not just presents
That must be opened
As another Christmas
starts
As well as all the
gifts
We must try to open
Closed minds and
hearts
The gift I most wanted
Was the sweetest girl
With a generous heart
A smile to banish
darkness
And a warm and tender
soul
To make all of my
Christmas dreams come
true
But it wasn’t to be
Because I ended up
with you
In the bitter winter of 1944 in the depths of the Ardennes Forest, an American Army Captain John Myers (Craig Olejnik) and a Belgian girl named Alina (Ali Liebert) meet and fall in love during a brief 24-hour Christmas truce amid the Battle of the Bulge.
When the fighting resumes and they have to go their separate ways they
promise to reunite on the first Christmas Eve after the end of World War II,
providing they're both alive.
