THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – RESCUING CHRISTMAS (2023)

In an effort to boost Christmas spirit, Santa (T. Mychael Rambo) is persuaded by two of his elves, Chuck and Debbie (Patrick Thomas O'Brien and Bailey Stender) to grant one person three wishes to get the holidays off to a flying start.

Their mistake was choosing photographer Erin (Rachael Leigh Cook) who has lost her love for Christmas.

So her sister Maria (Kathryn Fumie) and her husband Taylor (Rod Kasai) set her up on a blind date with affable and charming lawyer Sam (Sam Page) but even that didn’t change her mind about the season.

After ignoring all the texts and emails from the North Pole thinking they are spam , she is finally convinced, however when the first two wishes flop she uses her third wish to make Christmas disappear.

Realising what a huge mistake she had made she convinces Sam to help her restore Christmas and the joy it brings by reinvent the festivities from scratch.

But in the process will she realise how much Sam has come to mean to her.

When artist Jess Wolfe (Katie Lowes) and bar owner Danny Carmody Jr. (Jesse Bradford) go on a first date to a hockey game, the Bulldogs are on a major losing streak, however after they smooch on “kiss cam” the Bulldogs score the winning goal.

Despite the fact she has an exhibition deadline, family, friends and Bulldog fans pressurise Jess and Danny into continuing to attend the games and participate in more "kiss cam" moments or risk the wrath of fans as they get closer and closer to the playoffs.

But it is obvious to everyone there is more to their kisses than good luck charms.

It’s up to the neighbourhood dogs (Voiced by Jerry O'Connell, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Rob Schneider and Danny Trejo) and Grandpa Peter (Peter Looney) to join forces to stop the would-be robbers.

As a result the Mall is surrounded by wannabee Santas, so when they begin the interview process however it soon becomes a series of hilarious tasks and challenges leading to an all-out competition of Festive chaos, with a winner that surprises even Charles.

The owner of a Christmas tree lot in Compton California, Big Earl Hollander (Keith David) is a visionary with a big heart, who wants everyone around him to make the best of themselves especially his son Derrick (Omar Gooding) who is a part-time Christmas employee and part-time music producer.

Then during an argument about Derricks future, Big Earl has a heart attack and has to give Derrick the keys to the kingdom during his recouperation, which is when all kinds of troubles erupt in the week before Christmas.

In his desperation to prove to his father he is a success he tries to solve all the problems secretly, but things spiral out of control putting the survival of the lot  in jeopardy and it will take a Christmas miracle in Compton to save the season.
