THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE PRINCESS SWITCH 2: (2020)

 

A year after Princess Stacy (Vanessa Hudgens) and Prince Edward (Sam Palladio) are married, Stacy is on a mission to reunite Kevin Richards (Nick Sagar) and Lady Margaret Delacourt of Montenaro who separated after Margaret unexpectedly inherited the throne to Montenaro.

In order to give Margaret and Kevin a chance to talk the two women switch again for a day and plan to switch back again in time for the coronation.

Unfortunately Cousin Fiona of Penbroke and her accomplices, Reggie and Mindy (Ricky Norwood and Florence Hall) kidnap Stacy, believing her to be Margaret so that Fiona can be Crowned and embezzle a large sum of money.

So it’s up to Margaret, Prince Edward, Mrs. Donatelli (Suanne Braun) and Driver Frank (Mark Fleischmann) to rescue Stacy and save the day.

Chicago baker Stacy De Novo (Vanessa Hudgens) lacks spontaneity and is driven by planners and schedules.

So when her sous chef and best friend, Kevin Richards

(Nick Sagar) and his daughter Olivia (Alexa Adeosun) tell her she has been accepted for a baking competition in the kingdom of Belgravia she is reluctant to accept but eventually agrees.

Quite by chance, while she prepares for the Royal Christmas Baking Contest, she comes face to face with her double, Lady Margaret Delacourt of Montenaro, the dutiful, free-spirited fiancée of Crown Prince Edward (Sam Palladio) of Belgravia.

Once over the initial shock Margaret explains that she just wants one last chance to experience life as a “normal person” before duty dictates, she marries a man she has never met.

As Prince Edward is going to be abroad for the next two days Stacy agrees to switch lives, as long as they switch back before the contest.

Things don’t quite go to plan as the Prince changes his plans in order to spend time with his bride to be, and then Edward and Stacy fall for each other as do Margaret and Kevin, but what will happen when the truth comes out?

Ashley Seever (Breanne Parhiala) returns home for the holidays and secretly hopes to reconnect with her high school sweetheart and ex-boyfriend Grant Hines (Tanner Novlan) however she very quickly discovers he has a new girlfriend Bella (Masiela Lusha).

So, her best friend Liam Marsh (Colton Little) agrees to be her fake holiday boyfriend to spare her embarrassment.

However, amidst all the Christmas festivities the faux relationship takes on a different dimension when her fake feelings for Liam start to turn real.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – A CHRISTMAS PRINCE 3: (2019)

 

Two years after New York junior editor Amber (Rose McIver) helped Prince Richard (Ben Lamb) ascend to the throne of Aldovia, and one year after they married on Christmas Day, it's Christmastime again and a royal baby is due after Christmas.

But before they can relax and take time off to prepare for the new arrival they  must host a royal visit from King Tai (Kevin Shen) and Queen Ming (Momo Yeung) of Penglia.

The purpose for the visit is the resigning signing of a  600-year-old treaty which must be signed every 100 years by the reigning monarchs.

But disaster strikes when the treaty is stolen and a snowstorm hits trapping everyone in the castle, including the thief.

While Amber goes into premature labour, it’s up to Queen mother Helena (Alice Krige), Princess Emily (Honor Kneafsey), Count Simon (Theo Devaney). Penglian attaché Lynn (Crystal Yu) and Mrs. Averill (Sarah Douglas) to find the thief, and the treaty before the clock strikes midnight and avert a state of war.
