Two
years after New York junior editor Amber (Rose McIver) helped Prince Richard
(Ben Lamb) ascend to the throne of Aldovia, and one year after they married on
Christmas Day, it's Christmastime again and a royal baby is due after Christmas.
But
before they can relax and take time off to prepare for the new arrival
they must host a royal visit from King
Tai (Kevin Shen) and Queen Ming (Momo Yeung) of Penglia.
The
purpose for the visit is the resigning signing of a 600-year-old treaty which must be signed every
100 years by the reigning monarchs.
But
disaster strikes when the treaty is stolen and a snowstorm hits trapping
everyone in the castle, including the thief.
While
Amber goes into premature labour, it’s up to Queen mother Helena (Alice Krige),
Princess Emily (Honor Kneafsey), Count Simon (Theo Devaney). Penglian attaché Lynn
(Crystal Yu) and Mrs. Averill (Sarah Douglas) to find
the thief, and the treaty before the clock strikes midnight and avert a state
of war.
