THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – MERRY CHRISTMAS, TED COOPER! (2025)

Upbeat, Corning NY, TV weatherman Ted Cooper (Robert Buckley) loves Christmas and is looking forward to returning home for the Christmas holidays to his hometown of Lackawanna.

He is planning to film promos while he’s home for the Gingerbread Invitational fundraise as a favour to his older sister Kate (Meghan Heffern), which is a very good cause, a new children's wing for the local hospital.

His friends and colleagues don’t understand his liking for the holidays as in recent years he has had a catalogue of personal disasters at Christmas.

Despite hoping this year would be different he ends up in the ER on day one where he meets his former high school crush, Dr. Hope Miller (Kimberley Sustad).

He has further interactions with her after further mishaps which leads to them going on a date, encouraged by his sister, his retired teacher Ruth (Barbara Pollard) and Hope’s best friend Sydney (Reedan Elizabeth).

But will their burgeoning romantic relationship survive them working so far apart or should he accept the job he’s been offered in Buffalo which is closer.

But is that too much of a risk  for someone he always thought was out of his league.

However during the time she spends together she soon lets him know that she wasn't and isn't.
