“Jingle & Bell's Christmas Star” is a delightful, animated Christmas tale about a young boy named Andrew (Ryan Bley) and his Husky pup Jingle who live in Pineville.

Then just before Christmas they get new next-door neighbours who have moved from sunny Palm City, a girl the same age as Andrew, Sofia (Ami Shalabh) who also has a Husky pup, called Bell,

He is hoping to make some new friends, but Sofia and Bell's world has been turned upside down and all she wants is to celebrate Christmas in Palm City instead it looks like it might be her worst Christmas ever.

So, it’s up to Andrew and his buddy Jingle to show her that Christmas joy isn't about where you are but who you are with.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE CHRISTMAS KING! A GARDEN CARTOON MOVIE (2020)

“The Christmas King!” is an animated Christmas movie from the Garden Cartoon company, in which, Lenny the Lion and Lucy the Lamb have to journey to the Christmas Mountain to deliver the first snowflake of Christmas to the Christmas King.

There are many distractions along the way of their adventure, like a Penguin wedding, an angry beaver, a candy cane forest, and even have to outrun a Christmas kraken, is just beginning, but their reward for their persistence in meeting the Christmas King.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – MIGHTY MAN A MIGHTY MERRY CHRISTMAS (2022)

 

“A Mighty Merry Christmas” is an animated Christmas tale about Mighty Man and his team of Mighty Wheels trucks in Motor City.

This Christmas they want to do something special for Pop at Scoops because he is missing his deceased wife Lolli so they have to find a lost scarf that Lolli gave him before she died and the Mighty Wheels go off to find Pop’s perfect Christmas Tree and finally Thunder Ted has to make it snow in Motor City.

So, mission accomplished they helped Pop rediscover the true meaning of Christmas.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE SMURFS: A CHRISTMAS CAROL (2011)

 

“The Smurfs: A Christmas Carol” is a delightful, animated version of Charles Dickens classic tale.

Christmas has arrived in the Smurfs village and Papa Smurf (Jack Angel) leads a group of carolling villagers around the village and everyone is full of excitement except for one miserable Smurf, Grouchy (George Lopez), who behaves very badly and snarls at everyone that mentions Christmas and wants nothing to do with anything that involve Christmas.

Even Smurfette (Melissa Sturm) fails to get through to him, so Papa mixes up a magic potion which he lets loose, and it makes its way around the village until it reaches its destination, Grouchy Smurfberry Nog, and when he drinks it, he goes straight to sleep.

When he awakens the Ghosts of Christmas Past, Present and Future teach him to appreciate Christmas.

Other voices are provided by the vocal talents of Fred Armisen, Hank Azaria, Gary Basaraba and Anton Yelchin.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – THE MAN IN THE SANTA CLAUS SUIT (1979)

 

The incomparable Fred Astaire plays a multitude of characters including the mysterious owner of a costume store who rents Santa Claus suit to three very different men.

The first one is Bob Willis (Gary Burghoff) a math teacher who is desperate to propose to his model neighbour Polly Primer (Tara Buckman) and needs the suit to give him the nerve to do it.

The second is a homeless former restaurateur John Byner (Stan Summerville) who is trying to hide from two mobsters Babyskin and Bruno Betinger (Eddie Barth and Ron Feinberg).

And the final one was a harried political speech writer Gil Travis (Bert Convy) who is planning to visit his estranged wife Linda (Brooke Bundy) and son Terry (Andre Gower).

So will their lives be inexorably changed by their experience of wearing the Santa suit?.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – BEST OF FRIENDS (1972)

 

The Story is set in England in the 1920s, and is a modern day re-telling of the Hansel and Gretel story.

The protagonist is an insane and elderly widow named Mrs. Forrest (Shelley Winters) who keeps the mummified corpse of her little daughter, Katharine, in a nursery in her attic.

To the children and staff at the local orphanage Auntie Roo is a kindly American millionaire who holds a lavish Christmas party every year at her mansion, Forrest Grange, for 10 orphans, and they get to spend the night.

Christopher Coombs (Mark Lester) and his sister Katy were not invited so they stowed away in the boot of Inspector Ralph Willoughby’s (Lionel Jeffries) car.

When they are discovered by her servant Albie (Michael Gothard) Mrs Forrest allows them to stay.

On that Christmas Eve, she holds a seance with Mr. Benton (Ralph Richardson) she sees little Katy who resembles her daughter Katharine and she wants her to stay.

When she and Christopher are in the house, she kidnaps Katy and locks her up in the attic nursery.

Nobody believes her brother, Christopher, when he tells them what has happened, because he has a history of trying to scare the children so he goes to Forrest Grange alone to rescue her, so will he succeed or will he end up imprisoned himself.

THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – RADIO HYPE (2015)

 

Two polar opposites have late night talk shows on WCV-Chicago, Sonia Mayerick (Alison Sweeney) has a feminist slant to her show whereas Nick Linden (Jonathan Scarfe) has his "Man cave" show with a misogynistic slant.

Then one day they fight like cats and dogs live on the air and the ratings go through the roof, so the station bosses give them their own morning drive time slot, and it becomes an instant hit because people love to hear them argue.

But love and hate are two sides of the same coin and the two opposites soon attract but is there a future for them.
