THE BEST CHRISTMAS MOVIES EVER – RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER (1964)

A delightful Animated film from the Jules Bass and Arthur Rankin Jr collection in which Sam the Snowman (Burl Ives) tells the tale of Rudolph the red-nosed reindeer (voiced by Billie Mae Richards) whose father is one of Santa's reindeer.

But because of his shiny nose he is ostracized by the other reindeer and excluded from all the reindeer games.

So he teams up with wannabee Dentist Hermey (voiced by Paul Soles) and Yukon Cornelius the prospector (voiced by Larry D. Mann) and go off on an adventure but return to the North Pole on a foggy Christmas Eve and only Rudolf can guide Santa’s Sleigh.

The other voices are provided by the vocal talents of Stan Francis, Alfie Scopp, Janis Orenstein, Paul Kligman, Carl Banas, Corinne Conley, Peg Dixon and Bernard Cowan.
